There is a God and he hates PowerPoint too.

I cannot tell you how excited I am about Sliderocket–an online “cloud” presentation app that could be the death of PowerPoint (unless Microsoft buys them) and I would suppose Keynote too. I’m on the beta testing list and I can tell you first hand, it “rocks.”

Checkout the interview with Robert Scoble and Sliderocket CEO and founder, Mitch Grasso.

  1. Don’t blame the tool, when in fact the user is the one to blame. I am thoroughly annoyed at this ATTITUDE that I have to deal with regarding PowerPoint/Keynote. Even if we use the best design slide software in the world, if the speakers keep writing bullets after bullets as if they’re writing a book on slides, the cool design slide will look just like any other PPT, with the “cool” background. I don’t know if I am more annoyed at the speakers writing bullets on the PPT, or the “Inhouse designers” with their snobby attitude: “What? What is PowerPoint?” – Of course, not you, Kevin. You are great! :) But, this attitude, though, I am only experiencing in the corporate design group. Why is that??
